Gone.

Now this story isn’t about love but something else
An understanding of where and what you should truly appreciate
He loved her like any lover would
He was the type of guy any girl would fall in love with
She was the type of girl any guy would fall in love with
Her eyes shined like polished piano keys,
Lips glisten like fresh salt water in a summers day
It was all I could truly say, she was perfect for him
And he was perfect for her
Nothing could stop them from riding into the sunset
It was all good and jolly between them
But like all happy things, it has to suddenly end
They were walking back to the car after watching a flick
A chick with a red dress asked them if they could help her
They rushed quickly to her aid, went to an alley where it was dark and wet
Drips dropped from the pipes that were cracked
They were lead to an empty alley that had no emergency
But what emerged from the alley was two men with pistols
The girl in the red dress, took out a small pistol from her purse
It was a robbery that was truly a curse for anyone
Having to witness a traumatizing event
Picturing your life was held in the hands of people who had no problem pulling the trigger.
One of th men asked them to give them everything you own
At that time, all that was shown was a ring that was given
Now it has to be taken, taken from the finger of a soon to be wife
It was her life that was endanger, the pistols cocked and aimed at her chest
He didn’t know what to do, so he told her “babe just give it them I can buy you a new one”
But before she was able to take the ring off, the gun sparked and a bullet was shot through her chest.
The men said it was too late and they were taken too long.
The lady and the two men walked off with the ring that fell off an bounced towards them
Of course he didn’t care, all he cared was his Fiancés life
He screamed in terror asking for help, but all it did was echoed and dissipated into nothingness, the music played in the streets drowned out the sounds of cries.
Now it’s been 5 years since that day,
He slept alone with his arms spread to the left side
Hoping that she would appear to him and lay beside
It was all crazy and real to him, HD screen when he dreamed
repeating all the replays of the moments, looking at her face, lifeless
hopeless, her heart beatless, it was just foolish.
Tryin’ to wake her up calling her babe even if the blood was shown
Her eyes were closed, flows of tears began to sprint down his face
He wakes up again from his dream, his skin soaks up the sweat
Breathing got heavier, and his eyes got wider
All he can do now, is truly move on.
Now the story suddenly ends, no happy ending nor any closure. The Man and the Woman have no names because they represent everything we have right now. Family, Friends, Lovers. It can happen to anyone, the event doesn’t have to be exact, in fact it has to contain an event that shows you somewhat of a possibly altercation.
Now before I end this poem.
Hold tight to the ones you truly love for they can be instantly ripped from this world.
