Our God

The rain transforms into bullets, hitting our shoulders
Head, chest, hands, and face.
In space, stars hang in the balance, as the light dances
Bounces off our eyes, the mortal soul sees the portal to a new world,
I shift my body to the left to follow a different stream
In my dreams I see countless amounts of doubts
You see I’m trying to find the journey and the quest
That contains a chest that holds all the gold
Heal the body, Massage the mind
Ease off on the stress, release your breath give your body room to breathe
Lush trees, illustrious rivers, Beautiful skies
Making all the diamonds in life break under pressure
Nothing is fresher than bathing in a pool of mother nature
Prophets now a days hand out pamphlets to simple minded fools
Who don’t understand a word that goes on in our schools
Mathematical equations are used to understand the words in the bible
People are tricked to drink kool aid for spiritual revival
But let’s keep it real, you don’t need to drink anything or figure out anything
You just gotta close your eyes and believe.
Perceive the deceived
Whether your Muslim, Jewish or Christian
You gotta understand please, that they teach all one thing
Love one another as you would love your maker.
